CLAT Analysis: Section-Wise Analysis and Question Paper Pattern!

Exam analysis is a systematic way of interpreting the exam pattern to understand the trends an exam paper follows. Similarly, once the CLAT exam is conducted each year, it is analyzed by experts from the test preparation industry. It helps them predict what could be expected from future CLAT exams. This year the exam will be administered on 18 December 2022. The CLAT analysis 2023 shall be posted here by 19 December 2022. Even though we cannot discuss the actual CLAT analysis right now, we can look at what is expected from the CLAT 2023 exam.

The CLAT exam is a common test for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. These courses include a BA. LLB, BSc. LLB, LLM, and many more. 22 National Law Universities and various private institutions accept admissions through CLAT. NLU, Delhi, is the only National Law University in India that does not participate in the exam. The exam is administered on a national level. More than 77 thousand students are expected to sit for CLAT 2023.

CLAT 2023 Analysis: Difficulty Level

The Consortium has disclosed the anticipated level of difficulty for each section’s featured passages. The level of difficulty for each component must be considered when preparing for it by the candidates.

CLAT 2023 Analysis: Expected Passage Word Limit

The CLAT exam includes passage-based MCQ. The candidates must understand the facts and stories presented in the sections to respond to the follow-up questions. Each segment has a set number of words for its passages.

Previous Year’s CLAT Exam Analysis

Before the CLAT 2023 exam is held, we cannot definitively judge it. However, we may make accurate predictions by using the CLAT exam analysis from the prior year as a guide.

CLAT 2022 Analysis

The test has a medium level of difficulty. The applicants were able to attempt the question without much difficulty. There were 150 questions spread across 5 sections.

CLAT 2021 Analysis

The test was lengthy, particularly the section on legal reasoning. The English Language section was the simplest of the five.

CLAT 2020 Analysis

The exam was mainly of moderate difficulty. There were easy and relatively challenging problems in the English section. The quantitative technique section’s questions had a medium level of difficulty. The computations were simple, though. The legal reasoning test was simple but required critical thinking. 

CLAT 2019 Analysis

The test was simple but extensive. It took a lot of time. The difficulty level of the questions ranged from easy to moderate. Comparatively speaking, the questions in the English and logical thinking sections were more straightforward than the ones in the other three sections.
